Need a plug? It’s easier than finding parking

Disclosure: Candy was photographed to look like drugs.

“Ok so there is molly, coke, ketamine, shrooms, weed, mescaline, acid. I know people who are broke and will still try to buy lines,” said an anonymous source. They then went on and told me how I can find all of these drugs in the dorms…on campus.

First of all that’s actually crazy, the most I’ve been around drugs has to be our very own Mary Jane (cannabis) and it’s legal for 18 year olds  with a medical card. Like I’m genuinely shocked.

Dorm life is an experience, and if you don’t mind the constant smell of weed and the occasional throw up in your communal sink bathroom then it’s definitely for you, but don’t even get me started on the dorm parties. At least the students living in the dorms respect the quiet hours…some of them, I have beef with the soccer boys who live a floor above me, you know who you are.

I was homeschooled all through high school, so yes this is a very different environment then what I’m used to. It’s definitely not like the movies and TV shows but be aware, alcohol and drugs do come with the territory of being in college, if you participate — that’s up to you.

It’s surprising how easy it is to find drugs on campus. If you know the right people it shouldn’t be that hard to find what you’re looking for. I asked 20 different people if it was easy and accessible for students to get drugs on campus, and all, if not most of them, said yes. I can say we have established it’s easy to get our hands on drugs, now alcohol is 10x easier, even I have my own “plug” but you didn’t hear that from me.

Drugs are on a different scale than alcohol, but just because one is stronger than the other does not mean it’s not equally bad. They can both lead to addiction and health problems but I believe that’s a risk everyone should decide for themselves. After all, we are in college and people want to experience all these new types of “candies” we now have access to.

If you do decide to participate in this lifestyle and one day realize you have gone too far, there are resources on campus to help you.
